JOIN FIELDS CHAPEL UMC as we celebrate the founders/founding of our church by dressing in 1820’s costumes, playing games such as three-legged races, eating food and snacks, learning time-period crafts, taking a hayride, enjoying a cake walk, taking old-timey family photos, watch Bible tellings in action, and roasting marsh-mellows beside a campfire. It’s Trunk R Treat with a great theme and meaning! There is no better time to do this than in the Fall when the air just begins to crisp and cool and we are reminded of the many reasons we have to give thanks to God!
COME let us share the history of Fields Chapel UMC and our community! The evening will end with dinner and guided dancing for those who wish to participate! Dressing up is optional.
PRIZES will be announced at 6:30 PM for the best 1820’s costume present in the following categories: ages infant – 5; ages 6-10; ages 10-13; ages 14-21; ages 21-up; best gold miner; best rail road worker; best Cherokee Indian; best shop owner; best ladies; best man’s.
