Don’t forget Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services this week. Both will be on our FaceBook page
Maundy Thursday–7 pm–This will be an interactive service. There will be a time of anointing and a time of communion. Before the service starts, please have these available
Oil–Any kind of oil, but olive is preferred if you have it. Pour it in a small cup or bowl.
Communion–Any kind of bread, rolls, loaf bread, even crackers, on a nice plate. Liquid, preferably grape juice or red wine but any liquid is fine. The liquid should be in a nice glass or mug, maybe your favorite mug. Remember, if there is anyone sick in your household or who may have been exposed, use separate elements. Use your best judgement.
This is totally nontraditional, but the Bishop has advised us to use what we have for this is a time that more than anything, we need the spirit and the remembrance of Holy Communion.
Good Friday–7 pm
Easter Sunday and all other Sundays until the shelter in place is lifted–11 am
Love to all
Pastor Angie
