On June 4, 2017, as we gathered together to celebrate Homecoming Sunday, our church family was reminded of our legacy as a church with a very rich history. We remembered those who have come before us and the testimonies they left behind. Right from the beginning, Field’s Chapel welcomed people regardless of their background, all sharing their faith in Jesus Christ.
Our present resolve includes our current members who were charged with living our lives to reflect the love of Jesus. As children were brought forth we were reminded of our future resolve, to pass the torch to them as we raise them to reflect the Love of the Lord.
After a moving service, we continued the celebration with a pot luck lunch and were then entertained by Kurt Sutton who was a great impersonator of Mark Twain.
